The Everybody Wins! Story
Our Story
Since 1997, Everybody Wins! Atlanta has fostered a love of reading and built children’s confidence through weekly mentorship and literacy programs.
One day a simple idea took root: if caring adults read with children on a regular basis, doors would open. Colleagues began visiting a neighborhood school during lunch to read with students. That small act of connection grew into a movement.
In 1997, Everybody Wins! Atlanta began at Hope-Hill Elementary.
Today, our volunteers deliver Power Lunch, StoryTime, and home and classroom libraries to schools and community spaces across Atlanta. We currently partner with seven schools and also offer virtual programming, making it possible for more mentors to connect with students wherever they are. One child. One mentor. One book at a time.
We prioritize partnerships with schools that have the greatest literacy needs, including many Title I campuses.
